Andrew Wilson secures dismissal of felony property damage charges (Hennepin County/Minneapolis)

Wilson’s client was facing serious felony property damage charges out of the Minneapolis metro area, all of which the State agreed to dismiss at his first omnibus hearing. The State agreed with attorney Wilson that, as a matter of equity, continuing to pursue charges against his client was wrong.

The case is representative of the fact that, even if a case is airtight, legally speaking, some prosecutors hold true to the idea that their job is not to simply push to convict. The client’s personal nuances and proactivity toward bettering themselves aided in securing this dismissal, as did proactive engagement with the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office.
