Expungement Reversal at Minnesota Court of Appeals

The firm has successfully appealed another expungement denial to the Minnesota Court of Appeals. The Hennepin County District Court had wrongly denied the firm’s client’s request to seal records of an almost 20-year-old felony conviction. The Court of Appeals agreed that the district court’s decision was legally incorrect, sided with Wilson & Clas, and sent the case back to the Hennepin County District Court (called a “remand”).
